Call for Proposals

Office of Leadership Development L.O.V.E. Conference Committee is pleased to announce that the Call for Proposals is open for this year’s L.O.V.E. Conference!

Scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 9am to 5pm at the Howard Gittis Student Center on the campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, the L.O.V.E (Live Openly, Value Everyone) Conference inspires students to establish and promote their core values while living and leading authentically. This year’s theme is SuperMARKET Yourself: A Leadership Guide to Personal Branding




The committee is seeking professionals in the greater Philadelphia area to present during 50-minute workshops. Ideal proposals will connect with the overall theme and touch on at least one of the following objectives: 

  1. Production (Find Your Fit) 

  • How to recognize and develop core values, and how to use them to shape who someone will become in the future. 

  • How one can assess their skills and qualities, and determine what culture or role they think they work best in. 

  • How to interpret past experiences and apply life lessons to further understand one's fit. 

  1. Packaging (Build Your Brand) 

  • How students can use their core beliefs and values to develop what they want to be known for. 

  • Acknowledge/Explain the impact of students’ online presences on their overall personal brands. 

  • How to utilize skills and strengths to further bring out the value one gives to the world. 

  1. Promotion (Articulate Your Value) 

  • How students can use their authenticity to develop an interview style which allows them to stand out from their peers. 

  • How to articulate their value and express their uniqueness to those around them. 

  • How to utilize personal & professional network and the power of reputation to promote self 

We encourage you to submit no more than two proposals, either as a main presenter or co-presenter.
