The LeaderShape Institute
The LeaderShape at Temple Institute is a six-day, off-campus retreat that takes place during Spring Break.
Since 2006, the O.L.D. has facilitated the annual LeaderShape at Temple Institute each spring, hosting about 50 students and 5 Temple facilitators for a 6-day, off-campus retreat.
The Institute curriculum equips students with the tools to craft a vision for positive societal change and a plan for enactment within the supportive Learning Community environment. Participants spend the week in both small group and large group settings and are stretched and challenged throughout six days together.
The curriculum incorporates current leadership issues and focuses on “take-home application” where students apply what they learned on campus.
The 2020 LeaderShape at Temple University Institute took place over spring break from March 1st - 6th in Virginia.
